STORYLINE:
A group of Oriental White Storks, an endangered bird species, has recently migrated to the Zhalong wetland in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province and nested on power transmission towers.
They are expected to live there for seven to eight months.
To protect both the birds and the power transmission lines, staff of local electric company have placed protection boards, built artificial nests and conducted special patrols.
