During that period, the country earned over 525.08 million U.S. dollars from exporting black grams to countries including India, China and Thailand, the ministry's figures showed. Beans and pulses are Myanmar's second-most cultivated crops after rice, accounting for 33 percent of the country's total agricultural production, and black gram is the largest exported item among Myanmar's exported beans and pulses.
