The Duluhe Wetland Nature Reserve in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province has built 80 artificial nests for more than 60 pairs of oriental white storks, an endangered bird species.
The move aims to increase the species' reproductive success rate and expand its population.
More than 300 oriental white storks inhabit the reserve.
It is expected that about 180 oriental white storks will be hatched this year.
