Southwest Airlines "experienced a technical issue with one of their internal systems" on Tuesday morning, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) tweeted. "At the airline's request, the FAA paused Southwest's departures as they resolved the issue," the agency said. "The pause has been lifted and their service has resumed." Southwest Airlines, a U.S.-based low-cost carrier, said on Twitter that the company had resumed operations on Tuesday morning following a pause in service.
