STORYLINE:
Two ultralight aircraft collided near an aerodrome in northeastern Spain on Sunday, killing four passengers, regional authorities said.
The Catalan fire brigade (Bombers) confirmed on social media on Sunday that at 10:44 local time (9:44 GMT), they received the report of two aircraft falling to the sky close to the small aerodrome of Mola, north of Barcelona.
Each aircraft was carrying two people and all four were confirmed dead.
The authorities believe the two aircraft collided in the air.
