China Launched Beidou Navigation Satellite
China launched its 56th Beidou navigation satellite on a SICHUAN, CHINA - MAY 17, 2023 - Long March-3B carrier rocket at 10:49 am on May 17, 2023 from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan Province. The satellite, a geostationary orbit satellite, is the first backup satellite of China's Beidou-3 project. After entering orbit and completing in-orbit tests, it will be connected to the Beidou Navigation Satellite System.
