STORYLINE:
A completion ceremony marking the delivery of all 157 OSBL modules of the Canadian liquefied natural gas (LNG) project, which was partly built by China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), was held in Zhuhai City, south China's Guangdong Province on Tuesday.
The Canadian LNG project is the largest of its kind in Canadian history.
It is an international project led by Dutch energy company Shell and other four energy companies.
The first phase of the project was scheduled to build two production lines with annual LNG output of 14 million tons, and will provide high-quality clean energy to Asia.
Upon completion, the project is expected to provide more than 28 million tons of clean energy to the world annually.
