STORYLINE:
A porcelain company from Quyang County, north China's Hebei Province, became the authorized manufacturer of Ding porcelain wares for the Italian football club Inter Milan on Thursday.
For centuries between the Tang (618-907) and Yuan (1271-1368) dynasties, kilns in Dingzhou county, now called Quyang, produced exquisite white porcelain, winning the Ding kilns fame as one of ancient China's "five great kilns."
In 2008, the Ding porcelain-making technique was included in the list of China's national intangible cultural heritages.
