Holy Trinity In Mexico
A group of people inside the Parish of the Lord of Calvary in Culhuacan in Mexico City, listen to a mass in front of the representation of the Lord of Calvary on the eve of the Feast of the Holy Trinity and Corpus Christi Thursday in Mexico.
According to dogma, devotion to the Holy Trinity began in the 10th century, and from this time onwards, its liturgical feast also began to spread, entering the Roman calendar in 1331. On this feast, God is specifically honoured without the motive being a salvation event or the memory of a saint. It is ''to profess the true faith, to know the glory of the eternal Trinity and to adore His almighty unity''. (Photo by Gerardo Vieyra/NurPhoto)
