INDONESIA-JAKARTA-BANDUNG HIGH-SPEED RAILWAY-PERSONNEL TRAINING

(230608) -- JAKARTA, June 8, 2023 (Xinhua) -- Trainees take Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway on-call emergency response training class at the Indonesian Railway Polytechnic in Madiun, East Java, Indonesia, June 7, 2023. Currently, the joint commissioning and testing of the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway (HSR) is underway in Indonesia. Personnel training related to the operation of the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway is also ongoing. The first training class for operation and maintenance personnel of the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway started in February with over 170 Indonesian students enrolled. The duration of theoretical training will vary from one to six months, depending on the specific professions, after which students will receive practical training on the railway. The training courses are provided by the Chinese operation and maintenance management team, as well as Chinese railroad-related colleges and universities. (Xinhua/Xu Qin)
