'Casserolade' At The TSE For The Coming Sylvie Retailleau, Minister Of Higher Education
Dozens of people are gathering in front of the Toulouse School of Economics, founded by Jean Tirole (Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences in 2014), for a pot concert as Minister of Higher Education Sylvie Retailleau is visiting the TSE to meet students. After the pension reform was adopted without a vote in the French National Assembly, opponents have launched a 'challenge' for 100 days! Every member of Macron's government is being welcomed with a saucepan concert. Polls show that 71% of French people still oppose the pension reform, which would raise the retirement age to 64 years (for 43 years of continued work) and lower pensions, particularly for women, those with 'short careers' and low wages.
