STORYLINE:
For Mohammed Abu Ziada, a businessman, it was a dream come true to see red corn planted in his hometown Gaza Strip.
Ziada, 39, said that he had traveled to different cities in China to do business for more than seven years.
Two years ago, he tasted red corn for the first time in east China's Quanzhou City.
Impressed by the grain with its distinctive appearance and chewy texture, he soon recognized its nutritional value and decided to introduce it to his hometown.
