Beginning Of The Sanfermines - Pamplona

The festivities in honor of San Fermin, patron saint of Navarre, begin on July 6 with the traditional chupinazo and continue until July 14 with the chant of 'Pobre de mí' (Poor me). Once again this year, the street is the main stage of the San Fermin festivities, dates in which 542 official events have been scheduled, 300 of them of a musical nature. The main activity of the Sanfermines are the running of the bulls, which are held during the eight days of festivities at eight o'clock in the morning. This festival, which attracts millions of visitors every year for its festive atmosphere and its popular running of the bulls, has been declared of International Tourist Interest.
