Felipe VI At The Copa del Rey MAPFRE - Palma de Mallorca
King Felipe VI (1l) waves upon his arrival at the Real Club Naútico de Palma, July 31, 2023, in Palma de Mallorca, Mallorca, Balearic Islands (Spain). More than a hundred teams from 16 countries, divided into eight classes, face the challenge of being crowned champions of the 41st edition of the Copa del Rey MAPFRE sailing competition, a competition that will last six days and will bring together the best boats in the world on the race course in the Bay of Palma. Only those chosen from among the 1,500 participating sailors will be able to lift the trophy next Saturday, August 5, in a ceremony that will reward the winners and put an end to a week of regattas that will turn Mallorca and the Real Club Náutico de Palma into the epicenter of world sailing. King Felipe VI, who is taking part in the regatta aboard the TP52 'Aifos' of the Spanish Navy, is in charge of presenting the awards. 31 JULY 2023;PALMA DE MALLORCA;BALEARES;REAL CLUB NAUTICO DE PALMA;COPA DEL REY MAPFRE Tomàs Moyà / Europa Press 07/31/2023 Phot
