The redevelopment of railway stations would include better seating arrangements on platforms, upgraded waiting rooms, and free Wi-Fi connectivity. Modi said that his government aims to redevelop a total of 1,300 railway stations, with the foundation stone laid on Sunday for developing 508 railway stations.
