Russian missile attack ruins Saints Peter and Paul Church in Zaporizhzhia

ZAPORIZHZHIA, UKRAINE - AUGUST 10, 2023 - The rubble covers the ground near the Church of Saints Peter and Paul destroyed in a Russian missile attack that took place Wednesday evening, August 9, Zaporizhzhia, southeastern Ukraine. The strike killed three people and left nine injured, including an 11-month-old child. A Russian missile killed a 43-year-old man and young women aged 19 and 21. In addition, an outbuilding caught fire and the shockwave knocked out windows in nearby residential buildings, shops, and other civilian infrastructure.
