Tourism In Kotor, Montenegro

Tourists waiting to board a boat on the islet of Our Lady in the Rocks, located in Kotor Bay, Montenegro, on August 14, 2023. According to legend, the islet was made over the centuries by local seamen who kept an ancient oath after finding the icon of Madonna and Child on the rock in the sea on 22 July 1452.                   Indian tourists are visiting the sculpture of Jatayu at the Jatayu Earth Center in Chadayamangalam, Kerala, India, on April 6, 2024. This sculpture is the world's largest bird sculpture. According to legend, Jatayu was a demi-god in the Hindu epic Ramayana who took the form of a vulture. When the demon king Ravana was attempting to abduct Sita to Lanka, Jatayu tried to rescue her. Jatayu fought valiantly with Ravana, but Ravana soon defeated him, clipping his wing.
