Fans Watch Women's World Cup Final - Spain
Hundreds of fans watch the broadcast of the final of the Women's World Cup at the Plaza da Ferrería on August 20, 2023, in Pontevedra, Galicia (Spain). The city council has installed a giant screen for the broadcasting of the final of the Women's World Cup in Pontevedra's A Ferrería square, the birthplace of Teresa Abelleira, player of the Spanish women's national soccer team. Spain plays today the final of the Women's World Cup 2023 against England, after beating Sweden last August 15 in a semifinal that concentrated all the action in the last minutes. Salma Paralluelo opened the scoring in the 81st minute, Sweden equalized in the 88th minute, and Olga Carmona scored the winning goal in the 90th minute.
