Wildfire Burned Almost 15,000 Hectares - Tenerife
A seaplane works to extinguish a fire in Las Lagunetas, on August 22, in La Esperanza, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. The fire originated last Tuesday, August 15, in the Arafo mountain of the island and has already reached almost 15,000 hectares burned. At present, the fire is out of control despite the work of the extinguishing teams and has reached a perimeter that covers almost 90 kilometers along ten municipalities, being the northern area the most worrying.
