KHARKIV, UKRAINE - AUGUST 23, 2023 - Members of the public perform the national anthem during the inauguration of the memorial plaque in remembrance of perished Taras Redkin, a fighter pilot of the 204th Oleksandr Pokryshkin Sevastopol Brigade of Tactical Aviation, at the school where the servicemen studied in 2012-2014, Kharkiv, northeastern Ukraine. Ukrainian fighter pilot Taras Redkin died after steering the plane away from a town in Mykolaiv Region on September 25, 2022. His MiG-29 aircraft was shot down by Russian invaders during a mission to locate and destroy Russian air defence systems.
