August 26,2023, Srinagar Kashmir, India : An Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) soldier stands guard near the sophisticated vehicles during a demo of the two latest vehicles inducted by the CRPF at Lethpora in Pulwama, 20 km south of Srinagar. The CRPF inducted India-made Wheeled Armoured Amphibious Platform (WhAP) and Critical Situation Response Vehicles (CSRV) vehicles for operational purposes in Kashmir including law and order situations and countering militant activities. The sophisticated WhAP vehicle is capable of operating on land and also in marshy areas and streams using their water jets. The CSRV can accommodate at least three commandos and be raised to reach the upper floors of a building while shielding them in anti-militant operations in urban areas of Kashmir.
