A Chapel Dedicated To Rugby - South West of France
File photo dated March 7, 2017 shows the Notre-Dame-du-Rugby chapel. In south west France, rugby is religion, so much so that one Abbot Michel Devert has dedicated his chapel to the sport. You can admire stained glass windows inspired by Christianity and rugby, as well as a number of jerseys of former great names in French and international rugby. The Rugby World Cup, which will be held in France September 8 to 28 October 28, is an opportunity to highlight the Chapelle du Rugby, the only one of its kind in France, situated at the top of a hill overlooking the River Adour, in Larriviere-Saint-Savin, south west of France.
