Earthquake Death Toll Near 3,000 - Morocco

The earthquake of magnitude 6.8 on the Richter scale, which struck late last Friday, September 8, in the High Atlas area of Morocco, has so far left about thirty aftershocks exceeding magnitude 3, according to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center (CSEM), which has detected less seismic activity in recent days.
