King Abdullah II of Jordan extended condolences to the victims of the deadly floods in eastern Libya, and a government-run organization dispatched an airplane loaded with humanitarian aid on Wednesday.
King Abdullah II expressed sympathies to the bereaved families and wished the injured a speedy recovery in a phone call to the President of the Libyan Presidency Council Mohamed Menfi on Tuesday.
The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization said that it dispatched an airplane loaded with humanitarian aid to floods-hit eastern Libya.
According to its statement, the coordination has been completed with the concerned authorities in Libya to distribute the aid, including blankets, mattresses, and foodstuff, to areas affected by the floods.
