The construction of the Central Waste Water Treatment Plant funded by China is now in full swing in Mongolia's capital.
This project covering an area of 178,000 square meters in the Songinokhairkhan District of Ulan Bator is a landmark project under the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative and pragmatic cooperation between China and Mongolia.
"So far, the completion rate of the main structure has reached 82 percent, and the equipment has been basically completed at the Chinese factory and has begun to be shipped to the site in an orderly manner," according to Zhang Jiawei, a chief engineer of the executor of the project, China Tiesiju Civil Engineering Group, on Wednesday.
