Traditional Kashmiri Wazwan

Kashmiri chef or Waza prepare wazwan during a wedding ceremony in Baramulla Jammu and Kashmir India on 28 September 2023. Wazwan is a multi-course meal in Kashmiri cuisine, originating from Kashmir. Almost all the dishes are meat-based using lamb or chicken with few vegetarian dishes. It is popular throughout the larger Kashmir region. A number of dishes are prepared in wazwan; among them, the seven important meat-based dishes are kabab, tabak maaz, aab gosh, rogan josh, nate-yakhni, rista, and goshtaba.
