Protest In Rome
Citizens and unemployed individuals are currently demonstrating in Piazza Santi Apostoli, Rome, Italy, on September 30, 2023, to protest against the current Italian government's decision to abolish unemployment benefits. They are demanding more job opportunities and economic stability. The abolition of the Citizenship Income, introduced by the previous Italian government (Conte I government) and subsequently abolished by the current government, has been deemed unfair by many former beneficiaries. They believe this move will lead to the collapse of the economic system. Many Italian families are choosing to demonstrate against this measure. (Photo by Andrea Ronchini/NurPhoto)
