Dry Season Still Continue In Indonesia
Children use puddle water to bathe as the water in their homes dries up due to drought in Tarumajaya Village, Bekasi Regency, West Java Province, on October 1 2023. In the last two weeks, a number of residents in Tarumajaya village and its surroundings have suffered from a lack of clean water due to their wells drying up during the dry season. According to the Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), the dry season in Indonesia will continue in October due to the El Nino phenomenon which is still occurring in the southern part of the Equator.
