Israel Judicial Overhaul Protests
Jerusalem, Israel. A group of demonstrators drumming while in the background a sign in Hebrew and Arabic that says "Jerusalem against fascism" and another sign in Hebrew that says "There is no democracy without protection of human rights" in the colors of the Palestinian flag. This demonstration was held in front of the Supreme Court in Jerusalem on July 18, 2023, towards the vote on the Standard of Reasonableness law. Demonstrations against the current government broke out in January, 2023, claiming that the new government is promoting Judicial Overhaul laws. These protesters are a part of the Anti-Occupation Block that requests to include the subject of the Israeli occupation in the West Bank and Palestinian human rights in the protests against the Judicial Overhaul.
