532 Immigrants Of Sub-Saharan Arrive In El Hierro
Arrival of the patera at the dock of La Restinga, on October 21, 2023, in El Hierro, Canary Islands (Spain). 532 immigrants of sub-Saharan origin have arrived this afternoon to El Hierro in two small boats, with 212 and 320 people, respectively. The cayuco with 320 immigrants surpasses the one that arrived last October 3 at the port of La Restinga with 271, making it the boat with more migrants on board than any other on record since the 'Canary route of the pateras' was opened in 1994.
