Madrid prepares for the swearing in of the Constitution of the Princess of Asturias, Leonor, tomorrow, October 31, at the Congress of Deputies on the occasion of her 18th birthday. The Royal Family will arrive at the Congress escorted by the Royal Guard. The hemicycle of the Congress has been adapted for the solemn session and the 350 seats have been replaced by 585 velvet chairs, to fit deputies, senators, regional presidents and senior institutional officials. After the interpretation of the national anthem and an opening speech, Princess Leonor will take the oath as established in Article 61 of the Spanish Constitution, on the same copy that her father did on January 30, 1986.
