Iran-Caspian Miniature Horse
A Caspian miniature horse, just 14 days old, is standing in its main habitat in Gilan Province, Northern Iran, on October 19, 2012. Known also as the Iranian horse or the Persian miniature horse, this breed is small, elegant, and native to Iran. These horses are known for their refined appearance, spirited nature, and compact size, typically standing at an average height of about 32 to 38 inches.
