Iran-Caspian Miniature Horse

A Caspian miniature horse is standing in a stable in a garden near the city of Karaj, 45km (28 miles) northwest of Tehran, on September 1, 2012. Known also as the Iranian horse or the Persian miniature horse, this small and elegant breed is native to Iran. These horses are distinguished by their refined appearance, spirited nature, and compact size, typically standing at an average height of around 32 to 38 inches.
