Turkish Army Trespasses The UN Buffer Zone In Cyprus

The ''House of Christalla'' is being seen inside the buffer zone, very close to the residential area surrounding it, in Nicosia, Cyprus, on November 30, 2023. The Turkish army installed a camera and the flags of Turkey and the so-called ''Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus'' on the roof of this abandoned house two days ago. The house is situated within the UN buffer zone, which is officially the territory of the Republic of Cyprus and was voluntarily given to the UN for peacekeeping purposes. As this act constitutes a trespass of the buffer zone's status quo, the Republic of Cyprus is demanding that the UN troops take action to reverse this and remove the camera and the flags.
