The Commission's Action Plan is clearly demonstrating that its sole goal is to obstruct all fishing in the name of an ecological idealism that borders on extremism. It is absurd once again to impose restrictions on a sector that is among the hardest hit by recent global crises, even going as far as to arbitrarily ban trawling, which is the only source of livelihood in many coastal areas.
