Frozen Jägala Waterfall
10.12.2023, Jägala.
Jägala Waterfall is a waterfall is approximately 8 metres high and more than 50 metres wide. It is the widest natural waterfall in Estonia. The waterfall is a peculiar sight to see in winter, when the water freezes in cold weather and becomes a glistening ice wall with large icicles. A tunnel surrounded on both sides by ice forms in between the ice hanging down from the edge of the waterfall and the wall of the waterfall.
