Jewish groups hold menorah lighting to call for a ceasefire in Gaza
Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) at a joins Chanukah menorah lighting event hosted by Jewish organizations advocating for peace in Israel and Palestine. The event in front of the White House called for a ceasefire and Palestinian freedom, while President Joe Biden hosted a celebration inside. Biden has steadfastly refused to call for a ceasefire despite the fact that Israeli has killed nearly 18,000 Palestinians since October 7, 2023, in its retaliatory bombing campaign.
