(231219) -- CHANGSHA, Dec. 19, 2023 (Xinhua) -- This aerial photo taken on Dec. 19, 2023 shows cars running on the Guanzhuang-Xinhua expressway in central China's Hunan Province. The expressway, connecting Huaihua, Changde, Yiyang and Loudi cities, was officially put into operation on Tuesday. Aimed at increasing water safety and improving the water ecology and environment along the route, the middle route project has been carrying water through canals and pipes from the Danjiangkou reservoir in central China's Hubei Province to Henan, Hebei, Beijing and Tianjin.
