STORYLINE:
The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) has been a catalyst for the booming cross-border trade between China and Vietnam.
As of Dec. 31, 2023, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has launched 382 China-Vietnam freight trains since the RCEP took effect in 2022.
205,400 tonnes of import and export goods were transported by China-Vietnam freight trains in the period, such as drinks, food, diesel engines and building materials.
