Gulab Jamun Is A Popular Indian Sweet Also Called Called 'Gulab Jal Berry' Or 'Gulab Berry' In English. It Is Made From Fried Balls Of Milk-based Dough That Are Soaked In Sugar Syrup. This Sweet Is Soft Tasty Berry Shaped Balls. These Are Soaked In Rose-flavored Sugar Syrup And Enjoyed. Gulab Jamun Originated In Persia (present-day Iran) Around The 13th Century. There It Is Known As 'Lukmat-al-Qadi'. To Make The Iranian Dish, Flour Balls Were Fried In Ghee And Then Dipped In Honey Or Sugar Syrup And Eaten. Gulab Jamun Contains 6% Protein, 49% Carbohydrate And 45% Fat. One Gulab Jamun Contains Total 149 Calories. It Is Also Known As 'ledikeni' In Some Places In Bengal.
