Protest Of Free Poles In Warsaw

Protesters from the Law and Justice (PiS) party are demonstrating in front of the Polish Parliament in Warsaw, Poland, on January 11, 2024. They are protesting against the changes introduced in the public media by the new coalition government. The PiS supporters are reacting to personnel changes and the president's veto of a budget-related bill, which have led to the occupation of the public television's headquarters by PiS politicians and the liquidation of TVP. In solidarity with Mariusz Kaminski and Maciej Wasik, who were detained by the police, the PiS party has organized the March of Free Poles, starting from the Sejm of the Republic of Poland and proceeding to the Chancellery of Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
