Dry Winter Season In Kashmir

Sleds are remaining unused as the weather conditions continue to be dry at Gulmarg, a ski destination, in the Baramulla district of Indian-administered Kashmir, on January 23, 2024. The Kashmir valley, known for its snow-clad picturesque landscapes, is experiencing an unexpected absence of snowfall this year. This climatic shift in the region is already impacting the tourism sector and could have detrimental effects on the health of the region's glaciers and water bodies.
