Animal Activists Protest Against The Return Of Bullfighting In Mexico City

Activists in favor of animal rights are performing a demonstration as they march along Avenida de los Insurgentes towards Plaza Mexico in Mexico City, demanding an end to bullfighting in Mexico. In June 2022, Federal Judge Jonathan Bass granted a suspension of bullfighting following an injunction by the Just Justice civil association, which argued that the degrading treatment of bulls violates the right to a healthy environment.
