King Abdullah II of Jordan and President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Monday stressed the need to intensify efforts to reach a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
At a meeting in Amman, King Abdullah and the UAE president stressed the importance of intensifying efforts to protect civilians, and ensure the continuous and sufficient delivery of humanitarian aid to the people in the Strip, according to a statement by the Royal Hashemite Court.
