Activists Protest Against France's Import Of FFog Thighs
Activists from the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) are staging a protest against the import of French frog legs in front of the French Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia, on February 27, 2024. They are urging the French government, which they claim is one of the largest importers of frog legs in the world, to issue a ban on the import of frog meat. This action is following an investigation conducted by PETA into a number of frog meat industries in Indonesia, which revealed how workers are handling frogs improperly, even skinning the frogs while they are alive.
