NEPAL- POLITICS- PRIME MINISTER PUSHPA KAMAL DAHAL FORGES NEW ALLIANCE
Nepali Prime Minister and Chairman of Communist Party of Nepal- Maoist Center (CPN-MC) Pushpa Kamal Dahal attends an event hours after forging a new alliance in Kathmandu on 4th March, 2024. Dahal, nom de guerre Prachanda meaning fierce, also a former Guerilla leader led the insurgency for a decade, forged a new alliance with another Communist Party, CPN-UML (Communist Party of Nepal- Unified Marxist Leninist) severing relation with Nepali Congress, the oldest and largest seat holding party in the Federal Parliament of Nepal on 4th March, 2024. Dahal justifying his move of change in coalition claimed that Maoist would thrive in upheaval stating it would continue in the Himalayan Nation until he remains in politics. The Maoist had signed a Peace accord in the year 2006 to enter the mainstream Nepali politics who since then hasn't been on the opposition bench in the parliament.
