According to Pelindo's annual report for 2021-2022, the Indonesian port company is recording the flow of containers throughout 2022, with 17.22 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) noted, an increase from the 2021 record of 17.06 million TEUs and the pre-merger figure of 15.67 million TEUs in 2020. Similarly, the flow of non-container goods is also showing a positive performance, with 160 million tonnes recorded in 2022, compared to 146.2 million tonnes in 2021 and 133.8 million tonnes in 2020.
