Eternal Pollutants In Tefal Pans - Paris

Illustration of Tefal pans, in Paris, France on April 4, 2024. On Thursday 4 April, Members of Parliament unanimously adopted on first reading a bill to restrict the manufacture and sale of products containing "eternal pollutants" or PFAS (Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances). To be definitively adopted, the text will still have to be examined by the Senate. Tefal is one of the brands that uses these "eternal pollutants" on the non-stick coating of its cookware. According to the brand, if the law is passed, several thousand jobs could be lost in Europe. Photo by Firas Abdullah/ABACAPRESS.COM
