April 15 Marks 5 Years Since The Fire At Notre-Dame De Paris

Thousands of Parisians and tourists watched in horror from nearby streets on April 15 as flames engulfed the building and rescuers tried to save as much as they could of the cathedral's treasures built up over centuries. - On April 15, 2019, a fire broke out in the attic of Notre-Dame de Paris, a medieval Catholic cathedral in Paris, France. By the time the fire was extinguished, this spire had collapsed and most of the roof had been destroyed. 5 years after the fire, the cathedral is scheduled to reopen in December 2024.
