Pro-monarch supporters in Kathmandu, Nepal, are currently staging a demonstration in a small group, blocking a major road section in the capital on April 9, 2024, after police dispersed them using water cannons and tear gas. They were attempting to enter a restricted zone. Thousands of pro-monarch protesters are hitting the streets of Kathmandu, demanding the restoration of the monarchy and a Hindu kingdom.
